WHY  WE  ARE  HERE ...

 

 

TO LOVE GOD: Loving God gives us passion for worship. urgency to pray, hunger to honor Christ and to help others know Him. We believe that The Spirit and word of God are working in all God's children toward that goal.

TO LOVE OTHERS.  God's Compassion seen in someone's life is what led many of us to God. Our connection to our neighbors, our coworkers, and our community is shaped by deep awareness that God "so loved the world..." and still does.

TO MAKE DISCIPLES.  Jesus did not give Himself on the Cross so we could give God back the bare minimum. We exist to help people experience the Lord...and take the Lord into everything they do.

• Nurture means witnessing that is personal, genuinely concerned, and true.

• Nurture means  journeying together in spiritual formation.

• Nurture means a friend with you to pray and bring calm during crisis.

• Nurture means creating space where people become who they are meant to be in relationship to Jesus and others.

• Nurture means being there for all kinds of people.

• Nurture means listening to longings, and giving hope with structure for recovery.

• Nurture is strengthening believers to declare who God is, and who God is in them; in faith, life, and all we dare to dream.

• Nurture cultivates empowering aims that flow from God's Kingdom purpose.
